Section 131
Provision of dependents of prisoners of war from exempted deductions
(1) If the salary and allowance of a person who is a prisoner of war under the jurisdiction of this Act has been confiscated in accordance with clause (h) of sub-section (1) of section 123 and clause (a) of sub-section (2) but has been waived in accordance with section 130, the designated authorities shall give the dependents of such person Arrangements for rations and other necessary things should be made out of the salary and allowances. If such arrangements are made, only the outstanding amount will be considered waived.
(2) If any person under the jurisdiction of this Act is a prisoner of war or is missing in action, suitable rations and other matters shall be arranged for his dependents from his salary and allowance as prescribed.
